How very kind of you! Sometimes I reflect on the way my writing voice changes depending on who I think is reading. For instance, my new job at a library means my coworkers know about the blog and want to read it, so I’m trying to be more professional. When I worked at the theatre, I was loads more snarky. Perhaps I will blend the two moving forward. ❤

Aaaaahhh, thank you Krysta :). This was a wonderful surprise and I’m deeply honored. I also think it means I need to start adding “Book Blogger Award Nominee” before my name on “official” things like they do with actors who’ve been nominated for Oscars. So, on my students’s schedules for example, it would read, “Religions of the World – Book Blogger Award Nominee Michael Miller.” I like it :). What a special way to start my day. Thank you so much!

Oh, I love this! How didn’t I think of it?? Also, I’m sure celebrities do this too. We only see it added to their names in trailers but I’m sure when they’re meeting new neighbors or the new significant other of a friend or something they’re all, “Hello, I’m Academy Award Nominated/Winner [depending on the celebrity and their given accolades] Leonardo DiCaprio. Nice to meet you. Do you like to play Hearts or Crazy 8’s??” And now I WILL TOO.
