East Belfast is working on completing seven statues depicting characters from C. S. Lewis’s Narnia books to features in their new C. S. Lewis Square. Aslan, the White Witch, Mr. Tumnus, and Mr. and Mrs. Beaver are some of the characters who will form the display. They are expected to appear next summer at the earliest.

rmore announced Jamie Parker, Noma Dumezweni, and Paul Thornley as the actors who will portray Harry, Hermione, and Ron in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, opening next summer.
ReelFX has announced that their next film will be Wish Police, based on the novella by Daniel Nayeri. In the story, bad wishes by children come to life as villains who must then be caught by the members of a secret organization.

Today is making headlines with its revelation that C. S. Lewis worked with British intelligence as part of the war effort. It seems the author recorded a message to Iceland to help maintain good international relationships. It’s exciting news, but the articles announcing that Lewis was a “secret government agent” are misleading.
