sunThe future looks bright for superhero fans.  Not only do we have Supergirl to enjoy and the premiere of Jessica Jones to look forward to, but we also now have a synopsis for season two of Agent Carter and a photo from the set.  The show will return on January 5 at 9 p.m.

rainbow weatherIn a surprise move, Oxford Dictionaries announced that their word of the year for 2015 is actually an emoji–the “Face with Tears of Joy” or LOL emoji.  You can find the words that made the short list at TIME.

lightningAs The Silver Chair movie moves forward, Den of Geek reports that Will Poulter may not reprise his role as Eustace Scrubb, presumably because of the age difference between him and the character.

Partially CloudyThe art of Mo Willems will be on display at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Georgia, through January 10.  So if you’re in the area and a fan of picture books, you should check it out before it’s gone (and report back to us!).

nightEarlier this month Paramount announced Little Princea March 18 release date for its animated version of The Little Prince.  Now an international trailer has been released for your viewing pleasure.
sunThe Bronte Society is in the process of purchasing a newly-discovered poem and short story by the teenage Charlotte Bronte.  The manuscripts were discovered in the pages of a biography owned by Charlotte’s mother Maria.
